I’M ALINA, THE WOMAN BEHIND THE LENS
I photograph the version of family life you're actually living.
This studio began after my son was born, when I understood something I hadn't before: the moments that matter most are the ones nobody thinks to photograph. The tangle of limbs on the sofa. The laughter you can't stage.
The way a mother carries everyone's world - and somehow never appears in the family album.
That last part is the heart of my work. Mothers keep everyone else's memories. My sessions are where someone keeps yours - with you at the centre of the frame, not behind the camera.
Photography was my passion long before it was my profession. After many years in a career built on precision and responsibility, I chose the camera full time - and brought both habits with me: in how I plan, how I edit, and how I communicate.
The work is soulful and film-inspired - but craft only matters for what it serves: real connection, the warmth and the laughter between you and the people you love.
Sessions with me are calm and unhurried - and never precious. Toddlers are welcome to be toddlers. Babies set the schedule. Nobody performs.
Most families tell me they forgot I was there - until the gallery arrives, and they see what I saw: that even in the thick of it, it was beautiful.
