Newborn photoshoot at home in Twickenham
If you're in Twickenham, I'm your nearest newborn photographer - my studio is in St Margarets, so your home is usually a few minutes from mine. There's no travel fee and no need to take a days-old baby anywhere.
Why families choose home
The first weeks don't run to a timetable, and an at-home session works around that. I come to you mid-morning, when the light is good and babies tend to be settled. Your baby stays in familiar surroundings, you wear what you're comfortable in, and the photographs happen around feeds, changes and breaks.
Most sessions use two or three spots: the bedroom, the sofa, on the floor near a bright window, or even in the kitchen. Nothing needs setting up and the house doesn't need to be tidy beyond that.
What you'll get
Family portraits, siblings if you have older children, and the details - hands, feet, the newborn stretch - in colour and black and white, hand-finished in my film-inspired style. I'll guide where it helps and leave you to it where it doesn't.
When to book, and what it costs
The sleepiest photographs happen in the first two or three weeks, so most families enquire while still pregnant and we pencil a date around the due date. I take a limited number of newborn sessions each month. Older babies are welcome too, and if the date needs to move once your baby arrives, it moves - no charge.
Newborn sessions are from £695, which covers your planning consultation, the session, and ten hand-finished images to download and keep. Newborn sessions run longer than my others and are led by your baby. Full details: newborn sessions in Richmond and Twickenham.
Prefer the studio?
My garden studio in St Margarets is a short walk from Twickenham and St Margarets stations, with parking on site. Here's why some families choose a studio newborn session. If you're closer to Richmond, I also photograph newborns at home across Richmond.
